Summary of Job:

The Production Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the printing and flighting of billboard artwork from start to finish, the production of specialised innovation on billboards and for communicating with all key role players. In addition to the maintenance of existing structures.

The Production Coordinator is also responsible for overseeing the production on wall murals and spaza shops.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the production of billboard, wall mural and spaza artwork, alongside any special innovation against set deadlines.
  • Ensure that sites are flighted on time, to maximise client’s campaign period. This entails organising, tracking, following up and reporting until completion.
  • Manage production billings – prepare PO’s and CI’s
  • Communicate effectively to all stakeholders during each stage of the process
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers
  • Manage the maintenance of existing structures. For example, illumination, fixing of artwork, and upgrading structures.
  • Negotiating pricing with suppliers to ensure that our prices are competitive

Education and Experience:

  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in production, traffic or project management.
  • An in-depth knowledge of the production process is preferable.
  • Comfortable working under pressure and against deadlines.
  • Highly organised
  • Previous experience in the finance department
  • Proficient in Power Point and Excel
  • Negotiating rates with suppliers
